Samsung Music Hub

Samsung considers Expanding Music Hub availability to all devices

The Korean company Samsung in its future plans look to expand the availability of Music Hub. Music Hub till now is only accessible in somewhat a limited area. It is currently available only in six countries and devices including Galaxy S III and Note II.
Music Hub is a cloud based service which integrates mobile and web service. It helps users to access millions of songs. It is definitely a competition to the online radio and other traditional music stores. The Music Hub offers a library with 19 million songs new songs being added every day. This service offers advanced streaming options which lead to optimizing storage space. Also, it can be used offline leads to saving data transmission costs. This service does not take up much of the battery of the phone and makes it possible to enjoy high quality streaming even with an erratic signal.  This move is expected to clash with other services like Google Music and Amazon Cloud Player.
The company in its recent report points out it’s plans to expand this service not only to additional markets but also non -Samsung devices. As per the buzz, Music Hub is said to expand to tablets, Smartphones, Smart TV’s and interestingly refrigerators also. The move will definitely lead to a rise in the number of users. The SVP of Samsung Media Services TJ Kang recently stated that availability of Music Hub on additional devices is likely to make things good for the company.
There has been no definite timeline as to the completion of this project but it is definitely a top priority on the company’s list.
